Ensuring Quality & Safety

All of Algoa’s inspectors are fully qualified to international standards and can inspect units such as:

Drill Stem Tools & Specialised Drill Tools all conforming to DS1 standards. Tubulars and casings, Threads, Pipe Spools, all conforming to API standards.

Production Risers conforming to OEM standards.

We use various NDT (non-destructive testing) methods such as:

MPI (Magnetic particle inspection), LPI (Liquid penetrant inspection) or

DPI (Dye Penetrant Inspection), Radiography Testing and Ultrasonic Testing.

All these methods can also be offered by a 3rd party at our site if Algoa has produced work for a client that must be inspected using a 3rd party.

Algoa also offers inspection methods such as Hydrostatic pressure testing, Hardness testing and various offshore platform onsite inspection.
